This game is one if the best dungeon crawlers I've played. I wouldn’t trade my time with this game for anything, thank you dodgeroll, i never knew how much i needed to play as a sentient bullet with a sword till now. If theres a game where half your arsenal is an awful pun then i think somebody made the perfect game. The bosses are all so unique and great, and don’t even get me started on the gun variety.
The characters themselves are great, the secret unlockables are so fun and the extra stuff never gets old. This game’s pixel art is spectacular, each character being detailed with their limited space. Sure i might not get far sometimes, but that feeling when you get a synergy with a grenade launcher and an item that makes you invincible gives me a rush of dopamine that i cant describe. If you like playing your little baby games on the easiest difficulty, go ahead, but don’t **** on this game for being hard, it was designed to be hard and thats okay. Of you rate it low cuz of that then you clearly stumbled into the wrong game. This is a game where you can shoot eggs out of a gun called the scrambler and have a space turtle who follows you and a knight who is actually a sentient piece of junk while playing as a disgraced space marine. This may not be the optimized platform, but that doesn’t matter. This is a game where you can This game is excellent.
